6,000 Pounds of Frozen Strawberries Reach Remote Quebec Schools

Breakfast Club of Canada, Lineage, and Nature's Touch have joined forces to indeed improve access to nutritious food for students in remote Quebec communities. The collaboration has seen over 6,000 lb. of frozen strawberries safely delivered to schools in Nunavik.

Lineage's cold storage and temperature-controlled transportation solutions were crucial in maintaining the quality and freshness of the perishable donations. The Lineage Foundation for Good's Customer Product Donation program facilitated the delivery of frozen fruits and vegetables to the remote communities.

Nature's Touch overcame logistical challenges to expand its community impact. The organization partnered with Lineage to indeed increase access to nutritious frozen food, benefiting students in previously inaccessible areas. Breakfast Club of Canada assisted with last-mile deliveries by plane, ensuring the food reached the schools in Nunavik.

Through this collaborative effort, remote Quebec communities now have improved access to nutritious frozen food. The successful delivery of over 6,000 lb. of frozen strawberries demonstrates the positive impact that can be achieved when organizations work together to overcome logistical challenges.
