Christina Applegate Hospitalized Due to Kidney Infection

Actress Christina Applegate, best known for her roles in "Married... With Children" and "Dead to Me," has been hospitalized due to a kidney infection. This latest health setback comes amidst her ongoing battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a condition she has been open about since her diagnosis in 2021.

Applegate, who has a podcast named "MeSsy" where she discusses her personal life, announced her hospitalization on the podcast. She had initially believed she was experiencing symptoms related to appendicitis, but further tests revealed the kidney infections.

This is not the first time Applegate has been hospitalized due to MS symptoms. Over the past three years, she has been hospitalized more than 30 times. Despite the frequent hospitalizations, Applegate has shown determination to find the cause of her pain and stop it.

Applegate's neuro has not attributed the bowel issues she has noticed to MS, but Applegate believes there might be a correlation. She has been experiencing a slowing of her organ functions as a result of MS, including issues with bowel movements.

During her hospital stay, Applegate has been experiencing emotional distress, holding in tears. However, she has received support from her co-host on the "MeSsy" podcast, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who commended Applegate for instinctively seeking medical attention despite the pain.

Tracy Wright, an entertainment reporter for the website Digital, has been following Applegate's journey with MS closely. Wright reported that after returning to Los Angeles, Applegate went to the hospital and demanded extensive tests to determine the cause of her pain.

Applegate has a daughter, Sadie, with husband Martyn LeNoble. Despite her health challenges, Applegate continues to inspire with her courage and determination.

In June 2021, Applegate revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis. Since then, she has been open about her experiences with the disease, aiming to raise awareness and provide hope for others living with MS.
