Adolescent undergoes gunfire incident
In a shocking turn of events, an unidentified assailant opened fire in a bustling café on Prinzenallee, Berlin, last night, leaving a 17-year-old victim with life-threatening leg injuries.
The shooting occurred around 7:30 PM, with the café filled to capacity at the time of the incident. Witnesses described the assailant as approximately 6 feet tall, with a deep and harsh voice. He was wearing a dark-colored overcoat, a black leather mask, and black shoes that were shiny. A distinctive scar was visible on the left side of his face.
The café's CCTV cameras captured the shooting incident on video, providing crucial evidence for the investigators. The homicide squad of Police Directorate 1 (North) is currently leading the investigation into the shooting.
In a chilling sequence of events, the assailant is reported to have threatened a 25-year-old companion before fleeing the scene. The police are urging anyone with information about the assailant to come forward.
Unfortunately, this isn't the only incident of violence that has rocked Berlin recently. A separate stabbing, which occurred in Gesundbrunnen, resulted in a fatality. The suspect in this case is also yet to be identified.
