Aimee Lou Wood reveals how Angelina Jolie supported her mental health battles on set

Actress Aimee Lou Wood, known for her role as Chelsea in The White Lotus, has opened up about her struggles with body dysmorphia and ADHD on set. She found support from co-star Angelina Jolie during the filming of their upcoming movie, Anxious People.

Wood used her character's confidence to help her overcome body dysmorphia while filming bikini scenes in The White Lotus. She also found her voice and now feels able to advocate for her needs on set.

Wood, who has ADHD, struggled with panic on set due to multiple crew members shouting at her simultaneously. In a show of solidarity, Jolie stood by Wood when she asked for one voice and no hand movements in her line of sight to focus on her scene. Wood had Jolie's support again when she advocated for her mental health during a chaotic moment on the set of Anxious People, directed by Marc Forster.

Wood is currently working on the production of Anxious People, with Jolie's support. She has found her voice and is taking ownership of what she needs to thrive on set, including advocating for her mental health.
