Almaty Center Celebrates 51st Child's First Steps After Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation
A remarkable milestone has been reached at Almaty's children's rehabilitation center. This is the 51st case where a child with a severe diagnosis has taken their first steps. Most recently, a 12-year-old boy with cerebral palsy stood on his feet for the first time after a rehabilitation course.
The center, which has treated over 4,000 patients with cerebral palsy, offers a range of rehabilitation methods. These include medication, work with specialists, physiotherapy, and innovative techniques like locomotor therapy and rock climbing therapy. The boy's successful progress is a testament to the center's comprehensive approach.
Since its inception, the center has helped more than 15,000 children, including over 7,000 with disabilities. The organization behind the boy's rehabilitation remains unspecified, but their impact is undeniable.
The 51st case marks a significant achievement for the rehabilitation center. The boy's first steps serve as a beacon of hope for other children with cerebral palsy and their families. The center's continued efforts to help children with disabilities, using a variety of methods, are commendable.
