Arrested: Two Suspects Accused of Public Displays of Lewd Behavior

In Hanau, Germany, a 15-year-old youth was arrested on Friday afternoon following suspicious behaviour in the city centre. The arrest was made by the Hanau police station, and the suspect was observed handling a detail of a firearm, although a subsequent search revealed a gas-powered pistol, not a real firearm.

The arrest was prompted by a tip from a witness who observed the man around 3:50 PM near the canal gate square. Witnesses are asked to contact the criminal police at 06181 100-123 with any additional information.

The suspect will face charges for violating weapons laws. Following the arrest, identification measures, photographs, and a DNA sample were taken at the station. The investigation against the suspect is ongoing.
