Bianca Rommelfangen now leads Berlin’s vital Nord-Apotheke pharmacy team

Bianca Rommelfangen has taken over as head of the Nord-Apotheke at Berlin’s Humboldt Hospital. The pharmacy plays a vital role, supplying Vivantes hospitals and other medical centers with roughly 2,300 different medications. She steps into the position after years of experience within the same team.

Rommelfangen first joined the hospital pharmacy full-time in 2017, following her studies at the University of Freiburg. By 2021, she had been promoted to deputy director. When the previous head left, she took on interim leadership in early 2024 before officially assuming the role.

With Rommelfangen now leading the pharmacy, the team will maintain its supply of critical medications across Berlin’s healthcare network. The pilot project on high-risk drugs marks one of her first major undertakings in the new role. Her promotion follows a steady rise through the ranks since 2017.
