The programme, available to patients who have used Boots' Online Doctor's service for at least six months, offers a range of support features. These include unlimited clinician support, personalized resources, and free weigh-ins in-store. This comprehensive approach aligns with the NHS's recommendation for at least a year of support post-treatment.
The programme also includes a slimming jab withdrawal plan. Abruptly stopping weight-loss injections like Mounjaro and Ozempic can lead to weight regain, particularly in the form of fat. Around 2.5 million Britons are currently using these injections, making the Boots programme a timely and relevant service.
