"Brutal Treatment Beyond Taliban Levels": Tejashwi Yadav Shares Disturbing Footage of Physician, Who aided Rape Victim's Mother, Being Tortured Publicly

In an explosive social media post on Wednesday, RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav unleashed a scathing attack on Bihar's law and order situation. He shared a harrowing video, claiming that a doctor who visited a rape victim's mother in Gaya district was brutally assaulted by the accused.

Tejashwi slammed the state's administration, stating that it's worse than under Taliban rule. He accused the police and administration of being inept, incapable of preventing crime, catching criminals, and delivering justice.

"In Gaya, a doctor treating a rape victim's mother was tied to a tree and beaten to a pulp by the accused," Yadav posted in Hindi. "For the last 20 years of corruption under the NDA government, the police and administration have been utterly failures," he added.

A Glimpse into Bihar's Turmoil

The disturbing video, laden with graphic content, serves as a grim reminder of Bihar's relapsing chaos. In another heart-wrenching incident, a 10-year-old girl, brutally assaulted and raped, took her last breath at the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Sunday.

The minor victim initially sought treatment at the Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur on May 26 and sustained severe neck and internal injuries. According to Dr Abhijit Singh, the in-charge Superintendent of PMCH, she was treated for the entire night by a team of doctors.

Tejashwi Yadav, criticizing the government's handling of the situation, accused it of "administrative anarchy" and said that law and order had "collapsed." He expressed his disappointment that no government official had made an effort to meet the victim's family, implying that they were preoccupied with political matters.

The Opposition's Perspective

(with ANI inputs)

This tirade mirrors the growing concern among opposition leaders, such as Rahul Gandhi, who have also voiced their dismay over Bihar's law and order crisis. As the state grapples with rising crime rates, these leaders accuse the Bihar government of neglecting its responsibilities, turning the state into a "crime capital" of India.

  1. The disturbing events in Bihar, such as the brutal assault of a doctor treating a rape victim's mother and the death of a 10-year-old rape victim, show the dire health-and-wellness circumstances and the worsening medical-conditions in the state.
  2. Political leaders like Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, as well as other opposition figures, are growing increasingly concerned about the law and order situation in Bihar, deeming it afailed health-and-wellness sector, crime-and-justice issue, and even a political debacle.
  3. The increasing number of crimes in Bihar and the administration's alleged inability to address these crises prompted Tejashwi Yadav to liken the state's current situation to the Taliban regime, shedding light on the broader scope of the issue, including the nation's general-news and political landscape.
