Stress management among German workers has become a pressing concern. A recent study indicates that 97% of professionals experience high tension in their daily or work lives at least occasionally. Over half now report rising stress, with burnout-related sick leave climbing sharply since 2019.

The latest figures show burnout-related absences up by 33% since 2019. In 2024, each case averages 25.7 sick days, underscoring the severity of the issue. Classic burnout symptoms include persistent irritability, chronic exhaustion, behavioral changes, and social withdrawal.

The data clearly illustrates: burnout and stress are worsening among German workers. With most professionals facing high tension and absences rising, early recognition of symptoms remains crucial. Without intervention, the long-term health and productivity of employees could decline further.
