On August 4, 2025, the Marl Senior Council invites all citizens to participate in a round table discussion about aging in Marl. This event, which will take place near the prayer room of the Marler Stern, aims to provide a platform for discussing concerns, worries, or ideas about the living situation of older people in the town.

As part of the event, free emergency cards will be distributed. These cards contain all important personal information and are intended to be helpful for first responders and rescue services in case of an emergency. Two members of the Marl Senior Council will be available for exchange during the round table.

The format of the round table is open, critical, and close to the people, ensuring a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for all participants. The topic of the round table is aging in Marl, providing an opportunity for citizens to share their experiences and ideas on this important issue.

The Senior Council has been hosting the monthly round table on the first Monday of every month since May 2022. This month's round table, scheduled for August 4, 2025, will take place from 11 am to 1 pm.
