Drunk German tourist rescued after falling into narrow building gap in Austria
A 20-year-old German tourist was rescued after becoming trapped in a narrow gap between two buildings in Sölden, Austria. The incident happened early on Saturday morning, several kilometres from where he was staying. The man, who was intoxicated, climbed into the 30-centimetre-wide crevice before falling inside. He was wearing only jeans and a T-shirt when the accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. The rescue operation successfully freed the man from the tight space. He received medical care for his injuries and exposure to the cold. Authorities have not released further details about his condition.
