Dutch Youth Report Reveals Stark Housing and Living Condition Gaps

The National Youth Monitor has released its Annual Youth Report, this year focusing on young people's housing situations and living conditions. The report, produced in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, offers insights into the well-being of Dutch youth across various themes.

The 2023 edition of the report delves into regional disparities, including the unique circumstances of young people in the Caribbean Netherlands. It explores the experiences of children from low-income families, vocational education students, and young employees, providing a comprehensive snapshot of youth well-being.

Previous editions have covered a wide range of topics, such as adolescent mental health, youth unemployment, and educational attainment. The report aims to inform policy-making and support services for young people.
