Ed Space Expands Free Men’s Mental Health Support to Peel

Ed Space, a men’s mental health charity, is expanding its services to the west of the island. A new support group will soon launch in Peel, adding to existing sessions in Douglas, Ramsey, and Castletown. The charity is now searching for volunteers to assist in making this happen.

The organisation runs free, peer-to-peer support sessions called Ed Man’s Club. These provide a non-judgmental space for men aged 18 and over to talk openly about their struggles. No professional experience is required—just a willingness to listen and commit to one evening a week.

The expansion into Peel marks another step in the charity’s mission to improve men’s mental health across the island. With eight volunteers, the new group can begin offering regular support sessions. Those interested in helping can attend the upcoming meet-and-greet to learn more.
