New Modern Ambulances Arrive at Tomsk Emergency Medical Station
The Tomsk Emergency Medical Station has received a significant boost with the arrival of eight new vehicles, as part of the ongoing modernization of healthcare facilities in the region. The new ambulances, which include vehicles of both Class B and Class C, are equipped with all necessary medical equipment and supplies, and are made in Russia.
Governor Vladimir Mazur, in a ceremony earlier today, presented the keys to the new vehicles to Dr. Nikolai Rodionov, the head of the Tomsk Emergency Medical Station. In his speech, Governor Mazur emphasized the importance of providing modern, well-equipped vehicles for emergency teams as a top priority. He also thanked the doctors, paramedics, and drivers of the Emergency Medical Station for their service.
Class B vehicles at the Tomsk Emergency Medical Station are equipped with essential medical equipment such as ECG machines, automated defibrillators, pediatric and adult reanimation kits, bactericidal lamps, transportation immobilization devices, ventilators, oxygen inhalers, among other things. Class C vehicles, on the other hand, are reanimobiles, equipped with advanced life support capabilities. They are staffed with highly trained personnel and equipped with artificial ventilation machines, patient monitoring systems, defibrillators, syringe pumps, electrocardiographs, and devices for maintaining vital functions.
The Tomsk Emergency Medical Station, one of the largest medical institutions in its region, receives around 700 requests and makes up to 600 emergency visits daily. Approximately 40 teams are on duty at the station, using 54 vehicles. The modernization of healthcare facilities in the region will continue through both regional programs and the national project "Healthy Lifestyle". Around 40 million rubles from the regional budget were allocated for the purchase of these new vehicles.
Governor Mazur expressed hope that the new vehicles will serve as reliable assistants to the doctors at the Emergency Medical Station, ensuring they can continue to provide timely and effective care to the people of Tomsk. He also emphasized that ensuring comfortable working conditions for emergency teams, including providing them with modern, well-equipped vehicles, is a top priority.
The new Class B and Class C ambulances, equipped with ECG machines, ventilators, and advanced life support capabilities, are set to improve health-and-wellness care at the Tomsk Emergency Medical Station in dealing with medical-conditions. By providing modern, well-equipped vehicles for emergency teams, it is hoped that they can continue to offer timely and effective care for the citizens of Tomsk, aligning with the national project "Healthy Lifestyle."
