Fort Qu'Appelle's New Wellness Centre Offers Hope and Healing This Summer

A new wellness centre is set to open in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, later this summer. Called Calling Lakes Wellness Centre, the facility will provide support for people facing daily struggles. The project aims to create a peaceful space where visitors can step back from life's pressures and reconnect with themselves.

Steve Low, the centre's chief operating officer, hopes those in need will turn to the organisation for help. He wants everyone to know that support is available—and that there is always hope.

The centre will roll out its services in three stages. First, online treatment options will launch. Next, referrals will begin. Finally, the doors will open in late summer.

Located in Fort Qu'Appelle, the building has been designed to immerse visitors in nature. The surrounding landscape will play a key role in the healing process. Inside, the facility will offer counselling, a gym, yoga sessions, massages, and educational lectures. Low emphasised the importance of reaching out for support. He encouraged anyone struggling to contact the organisation. Further details about the centre can be found in a video report by Sania Ali.

Once fully operational, the centre will give people a place to pause and regain balance. Resources like therapy, fitness, and relaxation will be available under one roof. The team behind the project expects it to become a vital space for recovery and growth.
