Free reading event explores the science of a stronger soul in St. Ingbert
A free reading event will take place at St. Ingbert City Library on Wednesday, February 25, at 7:30 PM. Science journalist Corinna Hartmann and psychologist Tanja Michael will present their new book, 55 Questions for the Soul: How It Works and What Keeps It Strong. The main event is organised by the St. Ingbert Literature Forum and aims to share insights on mental well-being.
The book offers practical advice rooted in the latest research to help readers build healthy habits and regain emotional balance. Hartmann, a specialist in psychology and neuroscience, won the German Journalism Prize in Neurology in 2020. Her co-author, Tanja Michael, is a professor at Saarland University, where she leads the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. Her work focuses on trauma and stress-related mental health disorders.
The event will give attendees the chance to hear directly from the authors about their collaborative project. While details on past attendance for similar events remain unavailable, the organisers have opened the evening to the public without charge.
The reading provides an opportunity to explore science-backed strategies for mental strength. The book's approach combines expert knowledge with accessible guidance. Those interested can attend the library on February 25 without prior registration or fees.
