Fuchs Recalls Spice Blends Due to Allergen Labeling Oversights

Fuchs Foodservice GmbH is recalling two spice blends sold nationwide due to incorrect allergen labeling. Consumers can return the recalled products for a full refund, even without a receipt.

The recalled batches are 'Wild Spice Blend' number 501380 with an expiry date of 06/2029 and 'Barbecue Grill Spice Preparation' number 335100 expiring 04/2028. These products are sold under the Fuchs Professional brand in supermarkets such as Rewe, Edeka, and Kaufland.

The recall affects products without mustard and celery listed on the back label for 'Barbecue Grill Spice Preparation', and without celery listed for 'Wild Spice Blend'. People with allergies to mustard and celery should avoid the recalled 'Barbecue Grill Spice Preparation', and those with celery allergies should steer clear of the recalled 'Wild Spice Blend'.

Consumers are advised to check their spice blends and return any of the recalled batches to the point of purchase for a full refund. For more information, contact Fuchs Foodservice GmbH at 05421/309 250 or via email at [email protected], Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm.
