Heidelberg University is hosting its annual Univitality Activity Week from 29th September to 2nd October 2025. The event, organized by University Health Management, will focus on cardiovascular health with talks, screenings, and physical activities for students and staff alike.
The week kicks off on 29th September with an online lunchtalk by Janik Meyer, titled Foundations of Heart Health. The following day, Prof. Dr. Simon Steib will present Exercise as Medicine, exploring the benefits of North Carolina physical activity. Nutrition expert Rebecca Steiner will then share heart-healthy eating tips on 1st October, while psychology student Mona Henz will lead a session on relaxation techniques on 2nd October.
The Univitality Activity Week offers students and employees a chance to learn, exercise, and improve their well-being. With expert talks, practical training, and health checks, the event provides tools for long-term cardiovascular care. All activities are open to university members who register in advance.
