The image shows an old photo of an Indian man with a serious expression on his face. His eyes are focused intently on something in the distance, and his mouth is slightly open, as if he is about to speak. His hair is dark and his skin is wrinkled, indicating that he has been exposed to the elements for some time.

How a structured diet and beach walks helped him lose 40+ kg

Krushna Ingle, a resident of Palghar in Maharashtra, has shared his remarkable weight-loss journey on social media. After struggling with obesity for years, he turned to a structured diet and exercise plan in 2019, transforming his health and lifestyle.

Ingle’s journey began when he sought help from Dr Sayajirao Gaikwad, a specialist from Kolhapur. The doctor designed a nutrition plan centred on vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains while cutting out processed foods and sugar. His daily protein intake ranged between 90 and 120 grams, with an emphasis on healthy fats.

To stay active, Ingle walked 4-5 kilometres along the beach at least four days a week. He also restricted his eating to two meals a day, eliminating sweets except for a small treat once a week. By January 2026, his weight had fallen from a much higher figure to between 72 kg and 73 kg, with a target of dropping below 70 kg. The changes brought broader benefits beyond weight loss. Dr Gaikwad noted improvements in Ingle’s sleep, hunger control, and reduced acidity. His energy levels rose, and he experienced greater mental calmness. Even a friend of Ingle’s, who weighed around 99 kg, followed the same routine and lost 4-5 kg in just 20-25 days.

Ingle’s disciplined approach to diet and exercise has led to lasting health improvements. His story highlights how structured lifestyle changes can address long-term obesity issues. The routine has also inspired others to adopt similar habits for better well-being.
