Ibbenbüren's free parenting workshops guide new families through baby's first year
Ibbenbüren's Family Office has launched a new advisory service for parents of newborns. Called Little Steps, Big Questions, the programme will offer themed sessions every two weeks in April. The events are free to attend and require no prior registration.
The first session takes place on April 1 at the Family Office (Große Straße 21). It will cover Listening, Seeing, Wondering: Development and Sensory Perception in the First Year of Life. Pediatric nurse Melanie Rauschenbach will lead the discussion.
On **April 15**, the second session will focus on *The Adventure of Baby Sleep*. Parents can ask questions and share experiences about their newborn's sleep patterns. The final April session on **April 29** will address *Baby Nutrition from the Start—With Joy Along the Way*. Topics will include feeding tips and establishing healthy eating habits. All sessions run from **10 a.m. to 12 p.m.** on Wednesdays. Parents are also encouraged to bring up any other concerns about life with a newborn. The programme is a joint effort between the Family Office and Caritasverband Tecklenburger Land e.V. In May, four additional topics will be covered: financial planning for families, handling inheritance matters, work-life balance, and digital legacy management.
The Little Steps, Big Questions series aims to support parents during their child's first year. Sessions will continue in May with new themes. No booking is needed, and all are welcome to attend.
