IdeeLab Launches Massive Ag-Bio Plant in Brazil to Meet Soaring Demand

IdeeLab, a business-to-business startup specialising in agricultural biologicals, has opened a new large-scale manufacturing plant in Brazil. The facility, based near Londrina in Paraná state, significantly expands the company’s production capabilities. It also marks IdeeLab’s entry into full-service contract development and manufacturing for the agribusiness sector.

The new site increases IdeeLab’s annual production capacity to 1 million liters. By 2027, the company plans to scale this up to 6 million liters per year. The plant can manufacture a wide range of products, including microorganisms, metabolites, recombinant proteins, peptides, and RNAi-based solutions.

The expanded facility allows IdeeLab to offer full contract development and manufacturing services for the first time. With plans to reach 6 million liters annually, the company is positioning itself as a major player in Brazil’s thriving agricultural biologicals sector. The move also aligns with the country’s high adoption rates of biostimulants, biofertilizers, and biocontrol products.
