iHeartMedia Chicago Hosts 8th Annual 'Sista Strut Pink Celebration' for Breast Cancer Awareness

iHeartMedia Chicago is hosting the eighth annual 'Sista Strut Pink Celebration' on October 5, 2024, a 3K breast cancer walk presented by Your Local Ford Dealers. The event, taking place at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center on Chicago's South Side, benefits Sisters Network Chicago, Inc. Listeners can participate for free and are encouraged to donate to the cause.

The walk will be hosted by several radio personalities and ABC7 Chicago's Val Warner. iHeartMedia Chicago's support has been vital in raising awareness about breast cancer in the African American community. The event encourages participation and donations to support Sisters Network Chicago, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to increasing local awareness, education, and support for women of color affected by breast cancer.

The 8th Sista Strut Pink Celebration will commence at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 5th at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center on the South Side of Chicago. The event aims to bring together the community in a show of support and solidarity for those affected by breast cancer.
