The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has announced a new opportunity for young professionals with a Master's degree in Agricultural Chemicals, Chemistry (specialization in Organic Chemistry), or allied subjects. The Young Professional-II (YP-II) position under the NASF-funded research project at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi, is now open for applications.

Position Details

The position involves conducting advanced chemical analysis of medicinal plant samples and supporting the development and evaluation of handheld sensor technologies. The engagement will be initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 60% marks. The candidate’s age should be between 21 and 45 years, with age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC categories.

The monthly remuneration for the YP-II position is Rs.42,000/- per month (fixed and consolidated). Original documents and a medical fitness certificate must be produced at the time of joining. The Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or not select any candidate without assigning any reason.
