Krasnodar Territory upgrades healthcare with new tech and expanded training

KRASNODAR, April 30Yug Times. Krasnodar Territory's healthcare facilities will receive 140 new medical devices before the end of the year, Deputy Governor Yelena Vorobyova announced during a meeting with chief physicians at Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1.

Vorobyova emphasized that the region's healthcare priorities remain high-quality, accessible medical care, preventive check-ups, and promoting active longevity. She stressed the importance of disease prevention, rehabilitation, and the adoption of advanced medical technologies. To strengthen these efforts, the region is building new rehabilitation centers, constructing rural paramedic-obstetric stations (FAPs), and carrying out major renovations in medical institutions.

According to the regional administration's press service, the meeting also addressed staffing challenges. The deputy governor noted that enrollment in secondary vocational medical programs is expanding, with around 2,000 students expected this year. Vorobyova highlighted the need to—
