Lörrach's Digital Health Hub Wins Healthy Municipality 2025 Award
A digital platform in Lörrach has won the Healthy Municipality 2025 award for its work in improving community health. GesundSozial.digital was recognized for its creative and sustainable approach to connecting residents with vital health services. The prize includes a €5,200 grant to expand its initiatives further.
The platform brings together essential information on health, prevention, and social services in one place. Users can find guidance on illnesses, treatments, and exercise programs, as well as counseling and psychosocial support. Local contact points are also listed to simplify access to help.
Behind the project is the Bündnis 52 coalition, supported by several statutory health insurers. Together, they represent over half of all insured individuals in Baden-Württemberg. The platform is regularly reviewed and updated to meet evolving health equity needs.
New services are in development, including digital guides, personal consultations, and training sessions. The aim is to provide clear, user-friendly navigation through healthcare and support networks. This year marks the 13th time the Healthy Municipality 2025 award has been presented.
The €5,200 grant will fund further growth of GesundSozial.digital. The platform's focus remains on digital inclusion and expanding access to health resources. Organizers plan to keep refining the service based on community feedback.
