New Russian supplement Dakhar shows promise in reversing early ageing signs

Russian researchers have developed a new dietary supplement called Dakhar, designed to combat early signs of ageing. The product, now on the market as a specialised food, has shown promising results in slowing age-related decline in brain and cognition. Tests on rats—equivalent in age to humans between 55 and 60—revealed notable improvements after Dakhar treatment. The animals displayed increased exploratory behaviour and motor activity, indicating better cognitive function. Grip strength also rose by 82 grams in the same group, a clear sign of enhanced physical performance. Dakhar offers a non-pharmaceutical option for adults looking to preserve brain and cognitive function as they age. The research highlights its potential for those in their late 50s, where early intervention may make the most difference. With the product already on shelves, further real-world use could provide additional insights into its long-term effects.
