**Key Responsibilities:**
The role involves a blend of care coordination, supervision, and program management. Key responsibilities include developing individualised care plans, managing and monitoring services, ensuring high-quality care delivery across multiple specialties, conducting intake meetings and assessments, providing supervision for staff, assisting in managing program budgets, and developing program curriculum and growth strategies. The Medical Coordinator will also act as a liaison among patients, families, healthcare teams, and service providers, ensuring comprehensive care and effective communication.
**Qualifications:**
An advanced degree in a relevant licensure-eligible program, such as social work, counselling, or nursing, with behavioural health or clinical experience is typically required. Professional licensure such as LAC, LMSW, LASAC, or LAMFT is often necessary for supervisory clinical roles. At least 1-2 years of experience in behavioural health or disability services, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred, is essential.
**Skills and Attributes:**
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, leadership and management abilities, proficiency with healthcare regulations and organisational policies, and computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office tools.
