In a bid to reduce the number of accidents and emergencies involving children, the "Strong Family" project, a part of the United Russia party, is set to conduct first aid education sessions in the Primorsky Krai region this summer.

The sessions, which aim to equip parents with the knowledge of how to act in emergencies and educate children about safety, will take place in various districts of the region. Oksana Varchenko, chairperson of the public council of the United Russia party project "Strong Family", emphasized the importance of such knowledge, particularly for children and parents.

During these sessions, participants will be taught to handle scenarios for stopped breathing, bleeding, drowning, and other emergencies. They will also learn the use of improvised tools before medical help arrives. Real-life scenarios will be analysed, and there will be opportunities for parents and children to ask specialists their questions.

The importance of these sessions was underscored recently when five children drowned in the Primorsky Krai in June. Such tragedies highlight the need for increased awareness and education about safety measures.

The "Strong Family" project plans to continue these first aid education sessions in other districts of the region to ensure that as many children and parents as possible benefit from this vital knowledge.
