Pervomaisk's Red Cross Campaign Delivers Aid and First-Aid Training to 350 Locals

A series of humanitarian and educational events took place in Pervomaisk on March 26. Organised by the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Branch of the Russian Red Cross, the activities drew over 350 local residents. The focus was on first-aid training and support for families facing hardship. The events formed part of a charity campaign named With Kindness to People. This initiative provided aid to 50 Pervomaisk families in difficult circumstances. Red Cross specialists led workshops on first aid, including care for people with limited mobility.

Tatiana Grinevich, head of the regional Red Cross branch, stressed the campaign's role in promoting mutual assistance. Olga Guseva, the region's Minister of International and Interregional Relations, highlighted the need for ongoing cooperation between authorities and public groups. Local government leader Yelena Lebednova thanked the organisers for their efforts. The events also aligned with a wider push to strengthen humanitarian ties across Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

The campaign delivered practical support and training to residents. It reinforced partnerships between government bodies and charitable organisations. Further joint initiatives may follow as part of the region's humanitarian strategy.
