A 45-year-old Syrian national was deported from Germany on August 22, 2025, following an investigation by the Federal Police for entering the country despite a ban on entry and residence.
The man was arrested at Frankfurt Airport upon arrival from Athens/Greece on August 21. The arrest was made based on a wanted notice issued by the Aliens Authority in Bielefeld.
Prior to his deportation, the Syrian national was under investigation for the same offence. He was also fined 1,050 euros and had to pay procedural costs of 1,139.50 euros to avoid a 35-day custodial sentence.
Interestingly, the Syrian national had previously been sentenced to a fine of 1,050 euros for forgery.
