Right2Grow Initiative Marks Successful Close in Dhaka

The Right2Grow initiative's closing ceremony took place at Hotel Le Méridien in Dhaka on Monday. The event was organized by the Right2Grow country consortium, led by Max Foundation Bangladesh, and was attended by a diverse range of stakeholders.

The ceremony marked the end of the Right2Grow initiative, which aimed to improve the lives of marginalized communities. It was chaired by Dr. Sabine Pfeiffer, with Dr. Md. Shahidur Rahman leading the Max Foundation Bangladesh.

The chief guest was Md Saidur Rahman, secretary of the health and family welfare ministry. Other special guests included Annelies Kanis, Osman Haruni, Md Rizwanur Rahman, Kh Md Nazmul Huda Shamim, and Badiul Alam Majumder. These dignitaries were joined by senior government representatives, development partners, UN agencies, private sector representatives, civil society organizations, and community leaders from program areas.

ATM Tariqul Islam, chairperson of the Right2Grow country steering committee, and Iqbal Azad, team lead of the Right2Grow consortium, delivered speeches at the event.

The closing ceremony of the Right2Grow initiative brought together various stakeholders to celebrate the project's achievements and look towards future collaborations. The event highlighted the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation in addressing development challenges.
