A new trend is emerging in Russia's travel scene: 'sleep tourism'. This unique concept, focused on catching up on sleep and relaxation, is gaining popularity among residents of megacities who often seek nearby locations for rest, such as Zvenigorod, Istra, and the Golden Ring cities.

According to a YooMoney survey, only 35% of Russians got enough sleep during their last vacation. This has sparked interest in 'sleep tours', with 76% of Russians showing curiosity. Half of the respondents were unaware of this trend but found the idea appealing. Popular destinations include secluded mountain cabins and spa hotels near cities.

Budget-wise, 35% of respondents are willing to spend between 20,000 to 40,000 rubles, and 18% are ready to spend more than 70,000 rubles. When it comes to company, most participants (46%) prefer to go solo, while 35% choose to bring their partner. The ideal duration for a 'sleeping' tour varies, with most Russians (51%) believing two to three days is sufficient, while 29% prefer a week to ten days.

The rising interest in 'sleep tourism' in Russia reflects a desire for rest and relaxation. With only 26% of respondents aware of this trend and 12% interested in trying it, there's potential for growth in this unique sector of the travel industry.
