Serial Dine-and-Dash Suspect Faces Psychiatric Evaluation After Luxury Restaurant Spree
Pei Chung, a woman accused of repeatedly dining and dashing at high-end restaurants near me, is now facing legal and financial troubles. Currently held at Rikers Island, she has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric assessment after her lawyer claimed she does not grasp the charges against her.
Chung’s arrest record includes nine separate incidents of leaving luxury restaurants near me without paying. Her bail has been set at $4,500 (£3,570), but she remains in custody for now.
The psychiatric evaluation will decide if Chung can proceed with her case. If found unfit, her legal process may be delayed. Meanwhile, her mounting debts and housing situation remain unresolved.
