Feel the Pride in Yakutsk:

Dive into the excitement as Yakutsk celebrated its Regional Professional Skills Competition in Social Services on June 5th, just a day before Social Worker's Day! Nine top performers, each excelling in different categories, were honored and will now represent Yakutia at the national level.

Beaming with pride, the Deputy Chairman of the Yakutia Government, Georgy Stepanov, distributed the awards. One of the winners, Anna Timofeeva, a psychologist at the Suntar Family Support Center, shared her enthusiasm, "I've been in this field for over 20 years, and working alongside my fantastic colleagues is a daily source of pride. We understand our crucial role in society, and it's this realization that drives us forward."

This year, the competition welcomed 47 contestants from 28 social service institutions. They battled it out in 13 categories.

Here's a brief rundown of the winners:

  • Tuijara Dmitrieva, an educator at the Viluisk Family Support Center, triumphed in the "Best comprehensive support practice for families, including those raising children with disabilities and health limitations" category.
  • Anna Timofeeva, the psychologist at the Sunatar Family Support Center, won "Best social service practice for large families."
  • Natalia Kornilova, a speech therapist at the Republican Family Support Center, excelled in "Best social rehabilitation and habilitation practice for people with disabilities."
  • Snezhana Semenova, a psychologist at the Olenek Comprehensive Center for Social Protection, took the crown in the "Best volunteer organization project in the social services sector" category.
  • Antonina Sivtseva, head of the Center for Social Project Development in the field of social services for families and children at the "Beregynia" Family Support Center, won "For creation and longevity in the profession."
  • Oksana Gnilevskaya, director of the Republican Specialized Children's Home for Social Services, earned the "Success of the Year" title (Best manager of a social services organization).
  • Chamelein Morodosova, a specialist at the Olekminsky Complex Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities, was crowned "Discovery of the Year" (Best young specialist in a social services organization).
  • Anastasia Dyakonova, director of the "Beregynia" Family Support Center, excelled in "Stability and Quality" (best organization providing social services in a semi-residential form).
  • Natalia Pakhomova, director of the Republican Comprehensive Center for Social Services, was celebrated for her contributions in "Stability and Quality" (best organization providing social services in a residential form).
