Solingen Hospital's Children's Clinic Gets New €30,000 Ultrasound Machine
Solingen Hospital's children's clinic has acquired a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, replacing its outdated predecessor. The new device, costing over 30,000 euros, was significantly supported by a donation of around 14,000 euros from the Langenfeld Children's Heart Aid.
The new ultrasound machine offers better diagnostic options for the children's doctors at the hospital. It can examine the skull, hip, abdominal organs, and blood vessels of children. This is a significant upgrade from the previous machine, which frequently malfunctioned. The Langenfeld Children's Heart Aid, which supports non-profit hospitals in NRW with a focus on pediatric cardiology, has also donated a stress ECG, an ECG with lung function, and an echocardiography device to the children's center in the past.
The new ultrasound machine at Solingen Hospital's children's clinic is expected to improve diagnostic capabilities and patient care. The substantial donation from the Langenfeld Children's Heart Aid has played a crucial role in acquiring this advanced medical equipment.
