Strengthened security alliance propels health service triumphs during the Bürgerfest celebration
The Ingolstadt Citizen's Festival 2025 is set to be a safe and enjoyable event, thanks to the collaboration between two major German aid and emergency service organisations, Johanniter and Malteser.
This year's festival, scheduled for July 11th to 12th, will see over 100 volunteer helpers from both organisations ensuring the medical coverage. A central control centre, a command vehicle, and a mobile emergency doctor will be on hand to respond to any incidents that may arise.
Five medical stations are part of the deployment concept for the event, and a catering group featuring a burger grill and supplying the deployment forces will be a highlight.
The successful partnership between Johanniter and Malteser has been demonstrated in previous events, such as the half marathon. This year, the organisations aim to further expand their cooperation, with plans to enhance coordination via integrated command structures, collaborative training exercises, and the utilisation of digital tools for real-time incident management.
Julian Müller, a member of the state board of the Johanniter in Bavaria, visited the deployment forces and actively supported them. Sven Müller, the local representative of the Johanniter in Ingolstadt, emphasised the effectiveness and harmony of the cooperation with the Malteser.
During his visit, Julian Müller took the opportunity for a personal exchange with the deployment forces. A photo was taken featuring Sven Müller, Julian Müller, volunteer helpers of the Johanniter Ingolstadt, and the Malteser Ingolstadt-Eichstätt.
The Johanniter would like to express their gratitude to all volunteer forces for their committed participation in the event. They also thanked the visitors of the Citizen's Festival for their considerate behaviour during the festival weekend.
Logistics, technology, and catering units are involved in the event's organisation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The safety and wellbeing of the festival-goers is of utmost importance, and the presence of an emergency doctor on a mobile basis during the event will provide peace of mind for all.
Minor incidents occurred during the Citizen's Festival, but the event ran safely and happily. The collaboration between Johanniter and Malteser has played a crucial role in maintaining a secure and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
As the festival approaches, both organisations look forward to continuing their partnership and ensuring the success of the Ingolstadt Citizen's Festival 2025.
Science plays a crucial role in preparing for the Ingolstadt Citizen's Festival 2025, as both Johanniter and Malteser have implemented integrated command structures and collaborative training exercises to enhance their medical coordination and response. This increased focus on health-and-wellness, including the presence of an emergency doctor and five medical stations, will ensure that attendees can enjoy the event knowing that they are well taken care of in case of medical-conditions.
