Suntory's 'Special Water' Launches to Fight Abdominal Fat

Suntory has introduced a new 'functional water' named 'Special Water', designed to assist in reducing abdominal fat. The beverage, officially registered in Japan as a 'functional food', contains a unique component called HMPA, supported by clinical studies from the University of Bern.

The primary ingredient, HMPA, is a low-molecular-weight metabolite derived from fermented rice bran. It functions by enhancing abdominal fat distribution, particularly by decreasing visceral fat, as shown in clinical trials led by Professor Dr. Andreas Bircher and his team.

Targeted at office workers and those with sedentary lifestyles, 'Special Water' aims to combat abdominal fat accumulation without requiring users to alter their usual diet. Despite its health benefits, it appears identical to regular mineral water, containing no calories, sugar, or caffeine.

Suntory's 'Special Water' presents a novel approach to managing abdominal fat, with regular consumption potentially improving health and reducing visceral fat. Backed by scientific research, it offers a convenient, calorie-free option for those seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
