The city of Yakutia has announced plans to landscape and construct a military memorial area at the SVO sector of Magansky Cemetery. This decision was made following numerous meetings between the city's leadership and families of participants in combat operations.
The first phase of the landscaping project involves cadastral binding and registration of the points of burial of SVO fighters. The draft sketch and all construction documents for the landscaping and construction work have been agreed upon by the families.
The SVO sector at Magansky Cemetery will undergo land works, with the aim of creating a memorial area for funeral rites and a monument. The installation of gravestones on the burial sites of our fighters is a future goal of the first phase of the project.
The municipal budgetary institution for funeral services in Yakutia, named "Ritual," has taken the lead in organising this project. The city's leadership and families of combat participants made the decision to landscape and grant the sector military status.
