Toronto's North Face Sleep Centre Redefines Community Care for 15 Years

The North Face Sleep & Diagnostic Centre was founded in 2008 by two local physicians in Toronto. Their goal was to improve access to sleep diagnostics in a city where options were limited. Since then, the Centre has remained dedicated to serving the community with professional and accessible care.

From the start, the Centre focused on diagnosing and treating sleep disorders like insomnia, snoring, and daytime fatigue. All physicians on staff hold licences in Sleep Medicine and Respirology, while sleep studies are carried out by Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. This expertise helped the team treat tens of thousands of patients over the years.

The Centre's mission has always been clear: prioritise quality care and accessibility. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, services continued under strict safety measures without compromising medical standards. Patient feedback and improved quality of life kept the team motivated.

While the facility operates at full capacity, growth has been deliberate and controlled. Licensing rules on bed numbers limited physical expansion, but the Centre still broadened its services to include clinical research trials. Despite opportunities, there is no evidence of plans to expand beyond the original North Face location or partner with other health institutions. Instead, the focus remains on serving the local community effectively.

Today, the North Face Sleep & Diagnostic Centre stands as a reliable provider in the field. Its steady, disciplined approach ensures high standards of care while meeting community needs. The team's commitment to responsibility and patient impact continues to define its work.
