This is an outside view. Here I can see a double-decker bus on the road. Inside the bus there is a person sitting and driving. On the right side there are few people sitting on the chairs. On the left side there is a metal object placed on the footpath. In the background, I can see a building along with the windows.

Transport Minister Schnieder Hospitalized After Collapse

Transport Minister Patrick Schneider (CDU) was hospitalized after collapsing during the cabinet retreat. He is recovering after suffering a circulatory collapse. Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) confirmed that Schneider is stable and feeling better. Rhineland-Palatinate Minister President Alexander Schweitzer (SPD) sent his best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The incident occurred at the start of the cabinet retreat. Schneider was promptly taken to the military hospital in Berlin-Mitte for further examination. Despite the concerning event, Chancellor Merz reassured the public that Schneider is stable and his condition is improving. Schneider's absence was noted in the group photo of the cabinet, as he continues to recover. The cause of the collapse is not yet known, but it is understood to be related to a circulatory issue.

Schneider's colleagues, including Chancellor Merz and Minister President Schweitzer, have expressed their support. The Transport Minister is expected to make a full recovery, but his return to work has not been specified. The cabinet retreat continues, with Schneider's absence being felt but not disrupting the scheduled proceedings.
