Wartburgkreis Launches Nine-Day Mental Health Awareness Week in 2026

The Wartburgkreis District Office is organising a Mental Health Awareness Week from October 2 to 10, 2026. The campaign aims to bring together people of all ages under the theme 'For Acceptance, Against Exclusion—Every Mind Matters' to promote education and reduce stigma around mental health.

This year's event will focus on raising awareness and fostering open discussions about mental well-being. A variety of free activities, talks, and workshops will be available throughout the week.

The programme is designed for a broad audience, including teachers, healthcare workers, business leaders, and families. Children, young people, and anyone personally affected by mental health challenges are also encouraged to take part. Organisers hope the week will create space for learning, support, and solidarity. By addressing misconceptions and sharing knowledge, the campaign seeks to build a more inclusive community.

The Wartburgkreis Mental Health Awareness Week runs for nine days in October 2026. All events are open to the public at no cost. The initiative aims to strengthen understanding and acceptance of mental health across the district.
