WeightWatchers Expands Services with Amazon Pharmacy, Menopause Program, and New Leadership
WeightWatchers, now focusing on holistic health and wellness, has announced several strategic partnerships and initiatives. The company, which emerged from bankruptcy and relisted on Nasdaq this summer, is expanding its services and offerings to better assist its members.
In a significant move, WeightWatchers has partnered with Amazon Pharmacy to provide faster access to weight-management medications, including GLP-1s, for its Clinic members. This collaboration also offers Amazon Prime members free two-day shipping, with same-day delivery available in select cities.
WeightWatchers has further strengthened its commitment to midlife women by launching a menopause program, led by Queen Latifah. The program addresses hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and lifestyle support, ensuring comprehensive care for women navigating this stage of life.
To enhance the member experience, WeightWatchers has appointed Julie Rice, co-founder of SoulCycle, as its first chief experience officer. Rice, who joined in 2025 after WeightWatchers acquired her platform Peoplehood, will lead community and brand innovation.
The company has also appointed Dr. Kim Boyd as chief medical officer, further bolstering its medical expertise. Additionally, WeightWatchers has expanded its alliance with Novo Nordisk to increase access to FDA-approved GLP-1s like Wegovy.
With these strategic partnerships and appointments, WeightWatchers continues to evolve its offerings, providing members with faster access to medications, comprehensive menopause help, and an enhanced overall experience. The company's focus on innovation and expansion reflects its commitment to holistic health and wellness for all its members.
