Wiesbaden Hosts Free Info Evening on Care & Guardianship Planning
The Wiesbaden Guardianship Authority is inviting residents to an information evening on Monday, September 29. The event, titled 'Preparation for Care and Guardianship', will take place at 6 pm in the town hall, room 22, at Schlossplatz 6. The evening aims to educate attendees on responsible management of affairs using legal documents.
The event is free to attend and registration is possible via phone or email. Susanne Roßnagel and Jutta Meth, experts from the Wiesbaden Guardianship Authority, will be present to explain preparations and answer questions directly. They will cover topics such as power of attorney, guardianship orders, and living wills, all of which help determine who can act and make decisions in case of an emergency. Even for couples, clear legal regulations are necessary for secure decisions in health matters. Without a power of attorney, the court may appoint a guardian who decides within a specified framework, highlighting the importance of having legal arrangements in place.
