In Krasnoyarsk, a resident purchased two batches of fish, one from "Baton" and the other from "Dary Kamchatki," and found worms in both instances. She immediately submitted a complaint to the regional Rosseльхоznadzor, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.

According to the local office of Rosseльхоznadzor, the resident bought "Seld' with Peppered Cress from 'Moreco' at 'Baton' on ul. Braтьев Abałakovykh, 2, and 'Salted Herring' at 'Dary Kamchatki' on ul. Bograd, 134." In both cases, the woman discovered dead worms in her fish.

Specialists conducted an inspection and discovered that the fish sold at "Dary Kamchatki" did not come with the required veterinary supporting documents confirming its safety. The shop was issued a warning about the unacceptable breaches.

The fish supplied to "Baton" originated from OOO "Krasno-Yarskoe Rybopere-ra-batochnoe Predpriyatie 'Verno'". Rosseльhoznadzor also warned the producer and the store, suggesting they take measures to eliminate unsanitary fish products from their inventory.
