Title: Horrifying Allegations in Jabalpur: 14-Year-Old Girl Held Hostage and Raped for Three Days by a Social Media Acquaintance and His Friend

In an appalling incident that has sent shockwaves through Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a 14-year-old girl was reportedly raped over a three-day period by a man she befriended on a social media platform. The man, identified as Rajan, is said to have orchestrated this heinous crime alongside his friend in Mandla district.

The unthinkable journey began when Rajan, who had connected with the Class 7 student on social media, made his way to Jabalpur to meet her. Unfortunately, the girl's family became aware of their relationship and confiscated her phone.

Determined to maintain contact, Rajan returned to Jabalpur in February, discreetly slipping a new phone to the girl.

In what appeared to be a carefully planned move, Rajan summoned the girl to Mandla on April 21, under the guise of a meeting. She reached Mandla by bus and was subsequently held captive in a house for three terrifying days. During this time, Rajan and his friend allegedly raped the girl.

The girl's mother, having returned home to find her daughter missing, became suspicious of Rajan's involvement. Confronting him over the phone, she issued veiled threats about filing a police complaint.

Rajan, fearing the consequences, sent the girl back to her home in a bus on April 24. However, he ominously warned the victim that he would release an objectionable video if she dared to reveal the truth. But the courageous girl, bolstered by her determination to see justice served, reported the incident to the Garha police station in Jabalpur.

The accused and his friend have been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The police are on the hunt for the accused, vigorously pursuing their arrest.
