Woman with disabilities dies after fire accident leaves her with severe burns

A 36-year-old woman with disabilities has died after suffering severe burns in a tragic accident. Hazera Begum, from Gobindaganj in Gaibandha, was warming herself near a fire when her clothes caught alight. The incident occurred on January 4, leaving Hazera with burns covering nearly 45% of her body. She was rushed to the nearest general hospital for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, her injuries proved fatal. Hazera was the wife of Abdur Rahim and lived in Vishugari union. Her death follows days of treatment in the hospital's burns unit. Hazera Begum's passing highlights the dangers of open flames, particularly for vulnerable individuals. Her family has been left to mourn after the accident claimed her life during treatment.
