The Irish Poker Open (IPO) is gearing up for another thrilling year, and this time it's the Ladies Championship that takes center stage! This year-round event kicks off from April 17 to 18, with a buy-in of €250. It's a single re-entry tournament starting at 2pm, featuring a whopping 25,000 starting stack and a 25-minute clock. Last year, the tournament attracted 136 players, creating a prize pool of €28,509, and this year, organizers aim to achieve even bigger numbers!

For the first time in a decade, the Irish Open Live Stream will focus on this side event, marking a historic moment. The Ladies Championship will be hosted by Irish Open Ambassador Karen Muir, with Muir also joining the commentary box during some of the live stream. With friends and family worldwide, you can follow along in real-time!

Paul O’Reilly, co-organizer of the Irish Open, shared his excitement, stating, "The ladies will shine brighter than ever this year as the Ladies Championship sets the stage for the live stream. It's an unparalleled experience as this event will mark the first time ever it's been streamed!"

PokerStars, a champion for women in poker, has joined forces with the Irish Poker Open Ladies Championship, offering their unwavering support. They're headline sponsors, running online qualifiers for the IPO Main Event for weeks, giving away packages via their Ticket Machine and Power Path qualification paths.

In a unique move, Paddy Power has been hosting weekly, €10 buy-in online satellites for the Ladies Championship, with a €250 seat in the event up for grabs. These ladies-only online satellites have been running every Saturday evening at 8pm, with the final one taking place on April 5.

Lizzie Wilson of PokerStars shared their enthusiasm, "We're thrilled to support women's initiatives in collaboration with the Irish Open and beyond. Our mission is to create an empowering, welcoming, and respectful community. Safety, inclusivity, and love for the game are our guiding principles."

Kerryjane Craigie, a PokerStars Ambassador for Women in Poker, has also lent her support to the IPO Ladies Championship. She's giving away a package to the event via her duties as Director of Poker at the Hippodrome Casino in London. This package included three nights' accommodation in Dublin, travel allowance, and a €250 ticket into the Ladies Championship, all part of International Women's Day celebrations.

As the excitement builds, remember that every player who makes the Ladies Championship final table will receive an Irish-made sterling silver Crystal Illusion Celtic Tree of Life necklace - a symbol of Irish heritage and the celestial union of heaven and earth.

The Irish Poker Open, scheduled from April 10 to 21 in Dublin, is expected to be the biggest series yet, boasting doubled tournaments, €4.5 million overall guarantees, and attendance records set to be broken!
