Wonderful Pistachios Launches 'The Better Snack' Campaign in India
Wonderful Pistachios has rolled out its second advertising campaign in India, 'The Better Snack', highlighting the nutritional benefits of pistachios. The campaign, which includes premium front-page placements in The Times of India across six cities, aims to educate consumers about the protein-rich, guilt-free snack option.
The global study by Wonderful Pistachios revealed that 60% of consumers in key Indian cities prioritize nutritional value when making food choices. The campaign, running for six weeks, features immersive 3D installations of a flexing pistachio arm on billboards in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Bengaluru. Diana Salsa, Vice President of Marketing at Wonderful Pistachios, expressed excitement about the campaign's launch in India. Shail Pancholi, spokesperson for California Pistachios in India, emphasized that pistachios are fun to snack on and packed with protein.
The campaign aligns with the growing demand for protein-rich foods in India, with 86% of respondents actively seeking them. Notably, 69% of Indian respondents believe plant-based protein is as good as meat-based alternatives. California Pistachios, grown and distributed by The Wonderful Company, offer a non-GMO, healthy choice for consumers.
