Annual Parkinson's Awareness Event: Marathon Walk Set for July 27, 2025

On Sunday, 27th July 2025, the 4th Annual Parkinson's Marathon Walk will take place at Artarmon Reserve. This charitable event offers participants a choice of four different distances: 5km, 10km, 21km, or 42km. The objective of the event is to raise funds to support people living with Parkinson's disease.

Participants can register for the walk on Eventbrite, ensuring they have a spot in the event. Additionally, participants are encouraged to set up a fundraising page on the Marathon Walk 2025 page to collect donations from friends, family, and colleagues. Inviting others to join the walk can be done through social media, email, or any other preferred communication method.

The event will take place from 8am to 12pm at Artarmon Reserve. It is organised annually by ARC & The Dean Team and is known as the "Pitch in for Parkinson's" event. For those who are unable to attend but wish to support the cause, donations can be made through the Pitch in for Parkinson's website ([www.pitchinforparkinsons.org.au](https://www.pitchinforparkinsons.org.au)).

With four different walks to choose from, this event offers a great opportunity for individuals of all fitness levels to participate and make a difference in the lives of those affected by Parkinson's disease. So, mark your calendars and get ready to take a step towards making a difference!

Science and health-and-wellness efforts can significantly improve the lives of individuals affected by neurological disorders like Parkinson's disease. Registered participants in the 4th Annual Parkinson's Marathon Walk can support medical-conditions research related to neurological disorders by participating in the event and setting up fundraising pages on the official website.
